The Bali series centers a lot on families and their interactions within two specific contexts. The first one is the celebration of tradicional Balinese rituals. These interactions tend in general towards joy. The other context is the hard life of Muslim fishermen in Bali. The faces in these pictures tend in general towards expressing hardship and sometimes boredom and sadness. There are also images reflecting the diverse wildlife in Bali.
