It explodes in a celebration of color, shape and texture, that reflects the richness of our experience. In this piece, a rose emerges from the darkness, expressing the combination of beauty and pain, thorns and softness, and the ups and downs, the tides of brightness that we all experience until eventually, we, the rose, and everything, dies down and returns to its origins, to the deep darkness that makes all things possible.
