Volandino at the San Francisco Marathon

Fun day for Volandino the Astronaut (aka Javier ideami) running the 5K race part of the San Francisco Marathon day on a lovely morning in the beautiful embarcadero area and starting at the lovely Ferry Building.

Volandino ran an intense race reaching the 5K mark in 21 minutes and 24 seconds (http://www.strava.com/activities/171884011) , and with Volandino were many friends from Imagine’s Creativity Center running as well not just the 5K race but also the marathon itself.

We have to highlight the great marathon races of Blai Carandell Saladich and Angel both of which reached the final marathon line in less than 3 hours and a half, fantastic! Also extraordinary Xavier Verdaguer who without any training did more than 30 kilometers and went up and down the circuit helping friends at different stages. All in all a very fun day for the Imagine dreamers and for Volandino!
